[edit] Home/End Keys

Does anyone actually use Home/End to go to the TOP of the document and END of the document?

Edit the file ~/Library/KeyBindings/DefaultKeyBinding.dict And add:

  {
       /* page up/down */
       "\UF72C"  = "pageUp:";
       "\UF72D"  = "pageDown:";
       /* Home */
       "\UF729" = "moveToBeginningOfLine:";
       "$\UF729" = "moveToBeginningOfLineAndModifySelection:";
       "^\UF729" = "moveToBeginningOfDocument:";
       /* End */
       "\UF72B" = "moveToEndOfLine:";
       "$\UF72B" = "moveToEndOfLineAndModifySelection:";
       "^\UF72B" = "moveToEndOfDocument:";
 }

[edit] Making Home and End keys Behave Properly

  1. Open Eclipse Preferences...
  2. Go To General->Keys
  3. Type in "line start"
    1. Change the Key binding to Home
  4. Type in "line end"
    1. Change the Key binding to End

I also adjust the other settings like select line end to use shift-end (etc)
